Limited Liability Company Kharkiv Lifting and Transportation Equipment Plant (KhZ PTO LLC) offers for delivery modern bridge cranes, gantry cranes, electric hoists, cableways, cable railways, clamshells, cross-beams and grapples manufactured to GOST 27584-88, Specifications, the Safety code BPП10-382-00, and with account of European Rules for Designing Lifting Equipment - FEM. The Quality Management System at KhZ PTO LLC was certified in 2009 in compliance with the new International Standard ISO 9001:2008.
The enterprise has a complete file of approvals, allowing to manufacture and export its products to neighbouring countries and overseas, primarily to Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus. In spite of the economic downturn, KhZ PTO LLC is ready to execute your orders in short time and to quality standards.
The economic downturn, especially in the metallurgical industry and in those market segments, which defined the demand for lifting and transportation equipment, caused a temporary drop in the number of orders for special-purpose crane equipment. Many programs in reconstruction and scheduled replacement of worn-out equipment have been suspended.
The time has come when lifting equipment manufacturers and customers again have to face the problems of replacing worn-down equipment, maintaining production volumes and saving their workforce under economic downturn conditions. Presently, many companies are seeking their rescue in anticrisis measures. In the Interpod'emtransmash Corporation, there were no anticrisis activities. Over the past five years, we were steadily building up our production capacities and intellectual potential; each year we renewed no less than 15% of the range of manufactured products and increased the volumes of manufactured (and sold) products by no less than 20% annually. The company started lot production of claw cranes, crab cranes and casting cranes with a lifting capacity of up to 150 t. As of 2009, the number of manufactured claw and crab cranes reached 40 units. In total, during 2007-2008, the company shipped roughly 400 bridge cranes with a different lifting capacity. The key corporation participants LLC Kharkiv Lifting and Transportation Equipment Plant; Development and Design Institute Prommekhanizatsia, Ukraine; and LLC Dvesta, Republic of Belarus, due to their concerted efforts in the lifting equipment market, managed to lay a solid anticrisis foundation to stand fast during the economic downturn.
LLC KhZ PTO finalised the year 2008 with a sales volume of over 50 mln USD. This is four times more than the 1990 volume with the same staffing. The return per one worker reached 35,000 dollars annually, the average figure for the machine-building industry in Ukraine and Russia being 14,000 to 16,000 dollars. The entire profit gained during this period (and this over 20 mln dollars) was channelled to the development of the company's production capacities and launching new products. In so doing, the company is focused to energy saving and improving labour conditions. Starting from Q3 2009, the company will launch a new series of cranes КМТ, with a lifting capacity within 2 to 25 tons and duty А2 to А5. The hoisting mechanism in the КМТ series crane will be electric hoists manufactured by the company. According to our estimates, the cost of the KMT series cranes will be lower than that of classical design bridge cranes by 35-40%.
LLC Development and Design Institute Prommekhanizatsia has developed for the corporation 40+ projects for special metallurgical cranes, cargo and passenger cableways, and cable railways. All the equipment manufactured to these projects by LLC KhZ PTO, with the participation of LLC Dvesta, is being successfully operated in Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan and Georgia.
LLC Dvesta is part of the Interpod'emtransmash Corporation since 2004. The skilled staff of the company develops, manufactures and performs startup-and-adjustment of modern control systems for electric drives of bridge cranes, cableways and cable railways. The number of lifting and transportation equipment fitted with TEDF systems based on thyristor gates and TEDF-KM based on frequency converters (made by Siemens, Mitsubishi Electric, and Schneider Electric) is growing steadily. By the results of LLC KhZ PTO deliveries in 2007 to 2008, the number of TEDF installations was over 150, and that of TEDF-KM was 50 systems. This provided for over 90% of all cranes manufactured by the corporation. Enterprise Dvesta has the status of an official Siemens partner.
The enterprise LLC Pod'emservice, a corporation participant, maintains servicing at all stages of the product life cycle, performs technical diagnostics and extends the life of lifting and transportation equipment that has expended its standard operation time.
We believe that the Interpod'emtransmash Corporation, in spite of the crisis, shall secure itself a worthy place among leading world manufacturers of bridge cranes, cargo and passenger cableways, electric hoists and monorail transport.
